We have another busy weekend lined up. We are going to be delivering Thanksgiving baskets for the church tomorrow afternoon. I think it will be good for Nicholas to see how rewarding it feels to give to others that need help. I know we would appreciate it if we needed help!
We will also be putting up our tree. We pretty much have our million lights up outside and the inside is almost complete as well.
Sunday, Nicholas was invited to a birthday party for a kid in his class. It should be fun, it's a bowling party at the country club! Look at my little mister popular! I am glad that he gets along with all of the kids in his class.
Speaking of.......we went to Nicholas' first school conference and he got all good reviews. He is right on track with most things and is a little ahead in others. The teacher said he is really good at rhyming. Hmmmmm....no surprise there. His Grandma is pretty much a walking rhyming machine. Those two come up with the craziest sayings! She has been like that as long as I can remember, so I can't blame it on old age! Darn! He also counts up past 1000 and is very proud of it. He is so cute.....he counts all the time and is trying to read as well. He is doing pretty good in the reading area too! OK, OK, I am done bragging....I can't help it...I love that boy sooooooo much!
Lukas on the other hand would be getting a report that he throws tantrums and smacks people. That is something new to us. Nicholas was never like that. Lukas has a temper!!!! My friend told me that she read that kids like that end up being very intelligent. My mom said Lukas gets it from me....so I guess that means we will be the smarty pants in the family! So sorry Eddie & Nicholas! Hahahahaha
I am also hearing that usually the second born has the tantrums and is very stubborn. Anybody else out there find that to be true???
My niece Madelynn was like that.
My mom claims I was like that...but I didn't smack myself...I just threw bad tantrums.
My neighbor said her cousins second born smacks her too.
Come on, confess if you were a tantrum child....or ask your mom!

The second one is always worse than the first didnt ya know! You would really rethink the whole second one thing if the first one hit and threw the tantrums...Cash is a pistol and Skylar was an angel...i like to say she was abnormally good! Cash is well...normally bad! LoL Good Luck tho! XOXO A
